PLAY MODES:
Relaxed: There is no timer, so you play until you reach goal. Because of this, there is no way to achieve an expert or master score, and you can't use “madness” mode or rapid clicks to speed up customers after the movie starts.
Normal: This is the main game play mode. You are timed, but the customers have higher patience.
Hard: Locked until you beat the game on normal. The customers are “cranky” with less patience.
Insane: Locked until you beat the game on normal. Total insanity!
HOW TO PLAY, TUTORIAL:
As the tutorial begins, you have 5 theaters inside your brand new Megaplex. The place isn't finished yet, so that means you need to do some shopping! You have $500 to spend.
In the upgrade screen, you can buy a second box office station to serve more than one customer at a time.
You can also buy a second theater entrance to serve more customers.
Once you've finished shopping, it's time to play! Your first customer comes into the theater, and she wants a movie ticket. You can move her to the ticket station by clicking on her, and dragging her over the target, and releasing the mouse. Once she's at the station, the attendant will automatically take care of her, and you'll have to wait a few seconds.
Over her head in a thought bubble, you'll see a movie camera icon, which lets you know what she needs next. Once she has her ticket, she's ready to go see the movie. Like before, you need to click and drag the customer to the next station, and wait for the attendant to assist her.
Underneath each customer's thought bubble, you'll see a bunch of red hearts. The more hearts a customer has, the more cash you will earn for serving him. Each heart is worth $1.
You can use the cash earned in the game to buy and upgrade new stations for your megaplex, and to meet the daily income goal.
In order to advance, you need to meet the target income goal, shown at the bottom of the screen. In normal mode, this needs to happen before the day runs out.
Some customers are more patient than others.
Characters become frustrated if they lose 2 hearts in a row. When this happens, they will make a horrible grunting noise and try to walk out!
You can grab the furious customer before he leaves, and drag him back to the appropriate service station.
Customers do NOT lose hearts when you are holding onto them.
Sometimes, nature calls... You can drag your customers to the gender-appropriate restroom to take care of that.
Customers might want a tub of buttery popcorn before the film. They can get this at the popcorn station.
Customers each have an associated color, which matches the color of their clothing. When you place a customer onto a station, her clothing color is left behind as a marker.
You earn extra cash for making color combos. This is done by having customers with the same color clothing use the same stations consecutively. Each time you chain a customer of the same color type, you earn an extra $1.
If you can do this 5 times in a row, you can also earn a free arcade token. To collect it, place a customer over the station.
In the beginning, you can only gain up to 5 customers in a row, but with upgrades you can later increase this to 10.
You don't have to play the advanced tutorial, but completing it can earn you $400 in free upgrades for your theater. Now that's a nice incentive.
If a customer asks for something you don't have, like pizza if you haven't bought a pizza station, you can...erm...make him change his mind by picking him up and violently shaking him back and forth. Whether it's persuasion or brain damage, I don't know, but he'll forget what he wanted and pick something else.
Like the original, you can swap customers with opposite needs in order to earn a swap combo. If Jane wants pizza and John wants a ticket, and each is standing in the opposite spot, you can drag one customer on top of the other and release. Each is now happy, and you earn even more cash.
Customers also have favorite stations. Grampy and Granny, for example, like the restrooms. The Nerd likes arcade games. The Cowgirl likes popcorn, and Cletus, well...we're not sure what he likes because he changes his mind so frequently. Jack and Jill are impatient kids with a candy addiction.
As in the first game, you can play the arcade game to earn an extra heart for your customer (note that this is different from the token arcade game). You can earn as many as 6. To play, click the blinking light over the console. Repeat three times, and the game is over. You don't need to play if you are busy, but you won't earn the heart.
The gumball station is another place to earn an extra heart. Drag the handle downwards, and then make a complete rotation.
You have a limited amount of time each day until the movie starts. This is shown by the NOW PLAYING sign in the left hand corner. Once the movie has started, you can click on customers for a speed boost.
If you've met your target daily goal, you can still keep playing to try for the expert or master goals.
If you reach the expert goal on any level, you'll earn arcade tokens. These can be used to play the arcade minigames.
If you can reach the master goal on any level, you'll unlock neat theater decorations later in the game. These decorations attract more customers to your theater.
MINIGAMES:
You can play the arcade minigame from the map screen, if you have earned any tokens. Click the PLAY button in the arcade area
There are 5 to unlock. For all of the arcade games, the goal is to fill up the scoring meter.
In Bubble Blast, you play a version of a marble popper, where you must shoot out balls, hitting others and matching 3 or more of the same color. You can right click or hit the space bar to swap to the next ball.
In Spring Jumper, you move the mouse left and right to control the kangaroo. Try to land on different springs to make the kangaroo jump. Sometimes you need to bounce on the same spring more than once to get maximum height. You can try to jump high enough to skip springs for more points.
Dancing Star is a spoof on Dance Dance Revolution. Click the arrows when they pass over the blue bar. You will earn more if the arrow is in the center of the blue bar when clicked. If arrows go past the blue bar, you'll lose the game.
Krazy Kangaroo is a simple platformer. You move the mouse left and right to guide the kangaroo. Click and hold the mouse button, and then release to jump. The longer you hold the mouse, the higher the jump. Look out for birds and tall trees!
In Stack Attack, you play a basic match 3. Click on balls which are grouped in 3 or more of the same color. If the balls reach the top of the screen, you will lose the game. You can try to watch which balls are coming up from the bottom to see if you can pop are larger group. This will earn you the most points.
Once you've started playing the arcade games, it's a bit awkward to get back to the main game. You have to select MENU > MAP, and then you can go back to wherever you left off. You can play these games from the main screen as well, under Arcade.
You can earn money towards upgrades by playing arcade games, and hitting the targets on the score meter. To earn the most money, you want to continually hit new targets.
TIPS:
You can grab the furious customer before he leaves, and drag him back to the appropriate service station.
Customers do NOT lose hearts when you are holding onto them. This means you can hold a customer to keep him happy while you're busy with other people. However, you'll still need to put him down in order to grab onto others.
If you reach the expert goal on any level, you'll earn arcade tokens. Playing arcade games can help you earn upgrades.
If you can reach the master goal on any level, you'll unlock neat theater decorations later in the game. These decorations attract more customers to your theater.
Keep your eye on the customer forecast to spend your money wisely, picking upgrades that will be most helpful.
Once the movie has started, you can click on the bullseye above a customer's head for a speed boost.
If you want to prioritize, you will earn the highest income of you work on keeping customer hearts high first, making color combos second, making swap combos third, and keeping the most customers in your theater fourth.
Sometimes it's more important to keep you color combos going than to lose a single heart on a customer.
IF YOU GET STUCK:
If you get stuck, try to buy all available upgrades.
Remember, you get to keep the money you've earned, even if you fail a level.
Look at the customer forecast, and give priority to those stations most required.
Try to take advantage of all combos.
Alternately, there is always Relaxed Mode! This game is TOUGH.

Hints, Tip, Walkthroughs :
---------------------------------
General Tips
- It is always a good idea to start any level just to get a general overview related to the goals, which buildings you own, how many empty lots there are, and which buildings are not in your possession in the beginning. Take your time and think about your first actions, what buildings you will need to beat the level, and then restart the level. This strategy has the advantage that you already have a vague plan in your hand and do not waste any time in the beginning.
- Sometimes there are lots with an income penalty of 20%. These plots are perfect to build Hotels on that you would sale anyway, because the penalty does not affect the sale price.
- Be aware of the fact that you do not get any income from hotels when they get repaired, upgraded or are up for sale. Try to improve your hotels at the beginning of income cycles if possible, because then you lose income as rarely as possible. By the way, you get new money every 15 seconds.
- Service buildings are quite expensive to construct, but they are definitely worth it. Especially the Real Estate Agency is virtually required to beat some levels in expert time. For one thing you can buy every building whenever you want to, and for another thing you can change the prices of your as well as other buildings up and down.
- The museum can come in very handy if you need a high number of guests. By holding exhibitions at the Museum you can double the guests of all of your hotels on the resort.
- In contrast to similar games it never happens that additional goals appear during a level. Of course this makes the game less exciting, but otherwise some of the levels are really hard as they are, so it is good to know that there are no additional "bad surprises".
- In some levels you will have to purchase special areas or buildings, which are only available in that level and crucial to finish it. In most of those cases you not only have to buy the said building, but also restore it with a high number of workers and a large amount of materials. Take this into consideration from the beginning. You can see how much it will cost you to restore the building (even if you haven't purchased it yet) by clicking on that building and hovering over the wrench-button.
- Try to purchase every lot with an income bonus if possible, because they do not differ from "ordinary lots" in their sale price, but offer a huge advantage when they are yours. If you can avoid it never build commercial, service buildings or decorations on lots with income bonus, because this would be just a waste of what could be an easy additional income.
- Do not train more workers than necessary in the beginning of any level, because they are really expensive and you can't use them anyway if you lack money and materials.
- Always order the largest amount of materials you can afford to, because the discount is very distinct and you will need a large amount of materials sooner or later. Order materials before you have less than 500, because it is really annoying if you suddenly have to stop assigning tasks because you are out of materials.
- When you plan to build only one or two types of hotels train a number of workers according to the number you need to perform certain improvements on those hotels.
- Try to never miss the money letters which appear over hotels on a regular basis. They can definitely make the difference whether you can beat a level in expert time or not.
- If the "Play"-button at the beginning of a new level is disabled, you first have to purchase a new building or feature at the shop.
Building
- Basically, the key to success in resource management games is mathematics. Of course promptness and doing tasks at the same time are important factors, too, but in most of the levels you have to build specific buildings, and upgrade all of them according to your goals, which means that rapid clicking does not always help. The table below displays all the buildings in the game and what you have to know about them, namely the cost and result of upgrades and other advantages:
| Building | Construction Costs/Income/Guests | 1.Upgrade Costs/Income/Guests | 2.Upgrade Costs/Income/Guests | 3.Upgrade Costs/Income/Guests |

| Museum | 7 workers, 3000 materials | Provides your resort with 100 additional guests. You can hold exhibitions. |
Level 1:
- Simply follow the advices of Lynette and you should finish this level easily by building two Campgrounds.
Level 2:
- This level is an untimed tutorial, too. After building two more Campgrounds you only have to upgrade your four hotels until you have reached the required income.
Level 3:
- Here you learn the process of buying and selling lots/hotels, still untimed. Buy the first lot which is up for sale, build a Campground there, and immediately sell it. Purchase two more empty lots, build two Campgrounds on them, too, and finally upgrade your three hotels until you reach the required income.
Level 4:
- (From now on, levels are timed. You will get additional stars to complete them in expert time, however this is not required to proceed in the game)
- Purchase the Motel and the Cafe at the shop before you start the level, because they are connected to some of the goals in this level
- Goals: Own three motels (level 3) ; have 75 guests ; build hotels on every empty lot
- Build a cafe as suggested by Lynette.
- Upgrade your already existing motel to three stars and build another motel on your remaining empty lot.
- Sell the second motel (that one you did not upgrade) and purchase every empty lot as soon as one is up for sale.
- When you have sold two motels you have acquired enough money to buy the required materials and the remaining empty lots.
- Upgrade two more motels to three stars and build campgrounds and motels until no lot is empty anymore.
Level 5:
- Purchase the Conference Bonus at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Demolish three campgrounds near the lake ; own three motels (level 3) near the lake ; earn 125,000 $.
- Build three more motels and sell all four of them. Purchase the campgrounds or empty lots near the lake as soon as possible.
- Demolish the three campgrounds near the lake. Build more motels there and upgrade three of them to three stars.
- To earn the required amount of money sell all buildings or empty lots you still own except for the three upgraded motels.
- Look at the screenshot below for further details
Level 6:
- Buy the Guest House and the Statue in the shop to go on in the game.
- Goals: Own two guest houses (level 3) ; own three motels (level 2) ; Build Statue
- Build a Statue as implied by Lynette.
- Build a Guest House on a lot next to the said Statue.
- Upgrade the Guest House to three Stars and sell the Campground in the upper right corner.
- Build empty lots when they are up for sale, and construct a second Guest House on the second empty lot near the Statue.
- Build a motel on the empty lot with income bonus near the top row when you have acquired it.
- Build a third Guest House anywhere and sell it to raise enough funds to build the remaining two motels (acquire more empty lots if you don't have yet) and to upgrade your motels to two, and your Guest Houses to three stars.
Level 7:
- Goals: Restore the Fishing Center ; $50,000 income
- Build three campgrounds on your empty lots and purchase a new empty lot.
- Build a Guest House on your new empty lot and sell it.
- Wait until you have gathered enough money for the Fishing Center and buy it.
- Sell your motel (that one which you had from the beginning), upgrade the campgrounds and restore the fishing center.
- All of your four campgrounds should be upgraded to three stars now.
- Purchase two empty lots and build two more campgrounds on the, upgrade one of them to three stars, too, and you should have finished the level.
Bonus Level:
- In this little Hidden-Object part of the game you have to find 15 photos to earn additional points. Look at the screenshot below for the solution:
Level 8:
- Purchase the Construction Mill in the shop to be able to play this level.
- Goals: Own the Construction Mill ; Own four Guest Houses (level 3) ; Train 7 workers.
- Train a worker as advised by Lynette.
- Build a Guest House on an empty lot and sell your campground.
- Buy empty lots, especially those with income bonus and at all events that lot with income bonus near your cafe.
- Build two more Guest Houses on the empty lots with income bonuses.
- Upgrade your three guest houses to three stars.
- Buy another empty lot, now you should possess: a cafe, three guest houses and two empty lots.
- Build one more Guest House and the Construction Mill on your remaining empty lots.
- Use the Instant Repair button in the Construction Mill menu when it is built.
- Upgrade your Guest Houses to three stars.
- Train three more workers.
- Look at the screenshot below as a little help where you should construct which buildings.
Level 9:
- Acquire the garden in the shop to activate this level.
- Goals:Demolish two hotels ; own seven (level 3) motels
- Just a quick advice in the beginning: although the demolition of hotels might seem to be a quick and easy step, you should remit this goal to the end, because the demolition offers no advantages for you, and it is easier and more intelligent to fulfill this goal at the very end.
- Build two motels and one Guest House (this one on the empty lot with an income penalty). Sell the latter one immediately.
- Buy two empty lots and build four motels on the empty lots in your possession.
- Buy three more empty lots and build three more motels on them. Now you have built the seven motels you need for the first goal.
- Purchase another empty lot, build a campground on it, and demolish both of your campgrounds.
- Upgrade all of your motels to three stars.
Level 10:
- Buy the City Mall in the shop to activate this level.
- Goals:Own the City Mall ; have five sales in the city mall ; Have 150 Guests
- Of course it is important to build the City Mall rather early in this level, since you ought to have five sales there, and it takes some time for the "sale star" to refill between two sales.
- Train a worker and build the City Mall next to the 2 star-motel you already own.
- Sell the 2 star-campground in the bottom left corner.
- Build a Guest House next to the City Mall, and then a Statue on the right-hand lot of your new Guest House.
- Buy an empty lot and build another Guest House on it.
- Do not forget to have more sales each time the sale star is full again.
- Build more empty lots and build more hotels. To meet the guests-goal you should possess one 2 star-motel, one 2 star-Guest House, 2 motels without upgrades, and three Guest Houses without upgrades. Look at the screenshot below for a possible design
Level 11:
- Buy the Business Hotel at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Own two business hotels (level 3) with an income bonus of 25% ; own two Guest Houses (level 3) ; Own two commercial buildings.
- Train a worker and build a business hotel on the empty lot next to the canyon.
- Build a Statue on the empty lot with an income penalty next to your new business hotel.
- Demolish your campground near the canyon and build a Guest House on the now empty lot. Also buy the empty lot next to this new Guest House as soon as it is up for sale.
- Build a second Business Hotel on the remaining empty lot next to your Statue.
- Sell your second campground and build a cafe next to your Guest House. Also buy the empty lot left-hand of your cafe.
- Build a second Guest House on the empty lot next to the cafe.
- Upgrade your Guest Houses and Business Hotels to three stars each.
- Purchase any empty lot and build a City Mall there.
- Look at the screenshot below for hints with regards to the layout
Level 12:
- Goals:Own three business hotels (level 3) near the canyon
- Build two Guest Houses on your empty lots, and sell them as well as the campground you already possess.
- Buy two more empty lots, build Guest Houses on them, and sell those, too.
- Buy the Guest House on the bottom lot next to the canyon as soon as you can afford it.
- Buy the Business Hotel on the top lot near the canyon when it is available for purchase and train one worker.
- Sell your two star-motel and begin to upgrade your business hotel to three stars.
- Demolish the two Guest Houses near the canyon and replace them by business hotels.
- Train one more worker (you should have six now).
- Upgrade your two new Business Hotels to three stars.
Level 13:
- Buy the Real Estate Agency at the shop to play this level.
- Goals: Buy three business hotels with income bonus ; Buy two Guest Houses with income bonus ; $100,000 income
- Look at the screenshot below - the buildings you have to purchase are in red circles
- Train a worker, build a business hotel and immediately sell it.
- Build a Real Estate Agency.
- Build two more Business Hotels and sell them.
- Buy the Business Hotels with income bonus by using the Discount Feature of the Real Estate Agency.
- Buy empty lots whenever possible.
- Continue to build Business Hotels on new empty lots and sell them. Upgrade your Business Hotels with income bonus to three stars.
- Buy the Guest Houses with income bonus.
- Build a garden in the top and in the bottom row.
- To reach your income you need the two gardens, two guest houses and four business hotels upgraded to the maximum.
Level 14:
- Goals:$125,000 income ; have 600 guests
- To beat this level you need a garden and five to the maximum upgraded Business Hotels in the top row, as well as a Statue and two to the maximum upgraded Business Hotels in the bottom row. Later on you also have to buy the Observation Area, of course. Take this as a rough hint which lots you have to buy early one and where you should construct which building.
- Build a Business Hotel in the middle row and sell it.
- Build two Business Hotel in the top row.
- Demolish your Motel and build a garden there.
- Purchase every possible lot that is available except for the Business Hotel in the middle row.
- Build a Business Hotel in the middle row and sell it.
- Train up to ten workers.
- Build another Business Hotel in the middle row and sell it.
- Build two more Business Hotels in the top row.
- When you have three lots in the bottom row build a Statue and two Business Hotels next to it.
- Upgrade all your six Business Hotels to three stars.
- Buy the Observation Area and restore it.
Bonus Level:
- Here you have to find 15 objects to get bonus points. The screenshot below displays the positions of these objects
Level 15:
- Goals: Own the Business Hotel (level 3) ; Own three Guest Houses (level 3) ; Earn $2 million
- Build the Real Estate Agency.
- Build two Business Hotels and sell them.
- Buy an empty lot, build a business hotel and upgrade it to three stars.
- Purchase the two star-Guest House in the center and upgrade it to three stars.
- Buy two more empty lots, build business hotels on them, and sell those.
- Buy two empty lots, build two Guest Houses on them and upgrade those to three stars.
- Now you only have to fulfill the earn $2 million goal.
- Buy the three remaining empty lots, build business hotels on them, and sell those.
- This should suffice to reach the $2 million mark, if it should not for whatever reason, buy a campground, demolish it, build another Business Hotel and sell it, too. Even then you should still finish the level in expert time.
Level 16:
- Buy the Rapid Construction-Service at the shop.
- Goals:Build eight business hotels (level 3) on the resort ; sell four hotels ; train 15 workers
- Build two Business Hotels on the empty lots without income bonus and sell them.
- Build another Business Hotel on your last empty lot with income bonus and upgrade your two Business Hotels to three stars.
- Demolish your guest house and replace it by another Business Hotel. Upgrade this one to three stars, too.
- Buy two campgrounds, demolish them, and build two more Business Hotels on the empty lots.
- Train four workers.
- Sell the two Business Hotels you just built, too.
- Acquire six more lots (either empty or with rather cheap hotels on them). At first build a Construction Mill.
- Train six more workers, then build five business hotels.
- Upgrade all the remaining business hotels to three stars, especially by using the Rapid Construction Button in the Construction Mill menu.
Level 17:
- Buy the memorial at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Own five hotels ; have no empty lots with negative income modifiers ; Income $100,000
- Build a Business Hotel on your empty lot in the bottom row.

- Demolish the campground on the left-hand side in the top row, build a business hotel there.
- Upgrade your two business hotels to three stars, while you are handling the other lots.
- Build the empty lot on the right-hand side in the bottom row and build a business hotel there, too.
- Build your fourth Business Hotel on your last remaining empty lot in the top row.
- Build the campground in the bottom row and build a memorial on this new empty lot.
- Buy the empty lot on the left-hand side of the middle row and build a Business Hotel there.
- Buy the one of the last two campgrounds in the top and middle row, demolish it, and build one memorial on this new empty lot.
- Now just upgrade and/or purchase buildings until you meet the required income.
- Look at the screenshot below to see a suggestion for the design of this resort
Level 18:
- Goals:Own four Guest Houses with an income bonus of 110 % ; Own two Business Hotels (Level 3)
- To get a Guest House with 110% income bonus, it has to be built on an empty lot that already has a 20 % income bonus. Apart from that it must be also in the influence of a Statue, a Garden AND a memorial!!! And this goes for all the four Guest Houses. Since there are only four lots with an original income bonus of 20%, you apparently have to build your guest houses on them.
- Sell your Business Hotel.
- Build a Statue right beside your Guest House in the top row, and build another guest house on the empty lot beside the new Statue.
- Train a worker.
- Buy all six lots on the right side of the middle and the bottom row whenever they become available. Purchase also the empty lot on the left hand side of the top row.
- Build a statue on the empty lot right beside the motel in the middle row.
- Build a Business Hotel on the right-hand empty lot in the bottom row.
- Build a memorial on the left-hand side lot of your Business Hotel in the bottom row.
- Build a garden on the left hand lot in the middle row.
- Build a Guest House on the right-hand lot of the Statue in the middle row.
- Demolish the motel on the left side of the Statue in the middle row and build your fourth Guest House there.
- Build a garden on the left hand lot of the top row.
- Build a second Business Hotel on any remaining empty lot.
- Upgrade your Business Hotels to three stars. Train one more worker to do these upgrades at the same time.
- The Screenshot below displays the exact design that you need to fulfill the goals
Level 19:
- Buy the Price Growth Feature in the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Own five Guest Houses (level 3) with an income bonus of 25% ; Earn $1.5 million
- Sell your business hotel.
- Build a Guest House on the empty lot in the top row.
- Demolish your motel in the middle row and build a Guest House on the new empty lot.
- Demolish your campground in the bottom row and build a Real Estate Agency there.
- Begin to upgrade your Guest Houses to three stars as soon as possible.
- Build a Garden on the left-hand empty lot in the middle row, and a memorial on the right-hand empty lot in the bottom row.
- Buy the three empty lots in the middle row, build three Guest Houses on them, and upgrade those three Guest Houses to three stars, too.
- Purchase all lots, also by using the discount feature, and build Business Hotels on them.
- Sell the Business Hotels, also by using the Price Growth feature. Three sold business hotels combined with this feature should be enough to collect the required money.
Level 20:
- Buy the Museum to play this level.
- Goals: Own six Business Hotels ; Own the Museum
- This level is rather easy, as long as you keep building, selling and buying at the same time.
- Build two Business Hotels and sell them.
- Train three workers.
- Build two more Business Hotels.
- Purchase less expensive buildings, demolish them, and build more Business Hotels on the empty lots.
- Train two more workers.
- You should buy all the buildings except for Business Hotels. In the end you should have left one empty lot, Six Business Hotels, while all the other lots you do not own should be Business Hotels, too.
- At last, build the Museum.
Level 21:
- Goals:Host a Conference in the Pyramide ; Own six hotels near the Pyramid ; Income $200,000
- Apparently you need six lots around the pyramid. You already have two, do not sell them.
- Demolish the two hotels on the left-hand side in the top and middle row. Build two Business Hotels on these lots and sell them.
- Demolish your Motel and build two Business Hotels on the two lots near the Pyramid.
- Train five workers.
- Purchase four more lots around the pyramid as soon as possible. Demolish the hotels and build Business Hotels on the new lots.
- If you go out of money buy new empty lots in the corners, build Business Hotels and sell them immediately.
- Repair the Pyramid as soon as you have enough materials.
- Upgrade all of your business hotels to three stars.
- As soon as you have reached the income goal ( you need seven to the maximum upgraded Business Hotels for that), and $500,000 in your account, host a conference.
Bonus Level:
- This time you have to click on the largest of three money proposals to help Lynette winning the auction.
- Bob-Ann-Bob-Linnet-Ann-Ann-Ann-Bob-Ann-Ann-Linnet-Bob-Bob-Bob.
Level 22:
- Buy the Residential Hotel in the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Build three (level 3) Guest Houses ; Build two (level 3) Business Hotels ; Build one (level 3) Residential Hotel
- Sell both of your campgrounds and train two workers.
- Build a Business Hotel and sell it.
- Demolish your third campground, train two workers, build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Build a second Residential Hotel and upgrade it to three stars.
- Acquire rather cheap buildings (campgrounds, Guest Houses and Motels). Replace them by two Business Hotels and three Guest Houses (if you acquire Guest Houses you should not demolish them, of course).
- Upgrade your six hotels to three stars.
Level 23:
- Goals: Own two City Malls that serve 500 guests each
- In fact this this level is all about promptness. One City Mall is already built in the right place, you simply have to buy it sooner or later. The other City Mall has to be built on the central lot on the right hand half of the scene. Each of the two Malls is surrounded by seven lots, and you have to build 13 three-star Residential Hotels and one Museum on these 14 lots.
- When a Residential Hotel is finished, sell it immediately, since you need new funds to acquire new lots, more materials, and more workers. This is the whole strategy of the level. The building of the museum and the City Malls should wait until the end, just start by building and upgrading the Residential Hotels. The Screenshot below displays the positions of the important buildings.
- In the beginning sell your buildings to train the required number of workers and to purchase the needed materials for your first Residential Hotel. After that, simply repeat this action: Build a Residential Hotel - Upgrade it to three stars - sell it.
- If the empty lot for the second City Mall is up for sale early in the level, immediately purchase it and build a Real Estate Agency on it. That simplifies this level even more, since you can sell your Hotels for even more money and buy every other lot whenever you want to. In the end you can simply replace the Agency by the City Mall.
- Build the Museum at the very end, when all the Hotels are finished. Do not forget to hold an exhibition at the museum, thereby increasing the number of guests in every hotel of the resort by 50%.
Level 24:
- Goals:Own five Guest Houses (level 3) ; Own one commercial building ; Own one service building.
- Demolish the campground and build four more Guest Houses. Upgrade all of your Guest Houses to three stars.
- Purchase the two lots with motels as soon as you can afford to and demolish them.
- Build a Cafe.
- Build a Construction Mill.
Level 25:
- Goals:Own five (level 3) Business Hotels ; Own two decorations
- Train two workers.
- Build one Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Build three Business Hotels.
- Upgrade the three Business Hotels to three stars.
- Purchase empty lots or cheap buildings and replace them by two Business Hotels.
- Upgrade those two Business Hotels to three stars, too.
- Build one Garden and one Statue.
Level 26:
- Goals:Own five (level 3) Business Hotels ; Own two Service Buildings ; Earn $5 Million
- Considering the goals the museum is completely useless in this levels, so you should choose the Real Estate Agency and the Construction Mill as your Service Buildings.
- Train two workers, build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Train three workers.
- Build five Business Hotels.
- Build another Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Build a Construction Mill and a Real Estate Agency.
- Upgrade your Business Hotels to three stars, by regularly using the Rapid Construction feature.
- Train four workers.
- Build more Residential Hotels and upgrade them to two stars, still using the Rapid Construction feature. Then sell them by using the Price Growth Feature until you have earned $5 million.
Level 27:
- Goals: Own three commercial buildings ; Own three decorations ; Earn $6 million
- Demolish all your hotels, train two workers, build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Construct two city malls and a cafe.
- Build another Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Purchase as many empty lots and cheaper hotels as possible. Demolish them all.
- Build each of the Decorations once.
- Now you can concentrate on earning money. Keep building Residential Hotels, upgrade them to two stars and sell them until you have earned $6 Million.
Level 28:
- Goals:Build a Ski Lift ; Income $200,000
- Since the Ski Lift you have to built increases the income of Guest Houses by 300%, but reduces the income of Business and Residential Hotels by 75%, it is the to concentrate on building Guest Houses to achieve the required income.
- Demolish all your existing hotels, train one worker, build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Build three Guest Houses and upgrade them to three stars.
- Build another Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Train eight workers.
- Build the Ski Lift.
- Build a fourth Guest House and upgrade it to three stars.
- Build two Residential Hotels and upgrade them to three stars.
- Sell both Residential Hotels.
- Acquire four more lots, build Guest Houses on them and upgrade those to three stars.
- Alternatively, instead of eight Guest Houses, you can also build a Memorial instead of a Guest House, you will reach the required income that way, too.
Bonus Level:
- In this level you have to find 15 money piles in the scenery. The solution can be seen on the screenshot below
Level 29:
- Buy the Amusement Park at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Build five (level 2) Residential Hotels ; Buy an Amusement Park
- Build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Demolish your Motel.
- Build two more Residential Hotels and sell one.
- Purchase the Amusement Park as soon as it is up for sale.
- Upgrade your Residential Hotel to two stars.
- Purchase cheaper hotels and demolish them.
- Build four more Residential Hotels and upgrade them to two stars, too.
- Unfortunately it does not count if you just build your own Amusement Park. If it happens that the other Amusement Park is not up for sale in expert time, build a Real Estate Agency and buy it that way.
Level 30:
- Buy the Grand Palace at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Buy three decorations ; have 500 guests
- All in all you will need a museum, three Grand Palaces (3 stars) and a Real Estate Agency to buy the three decorations (they will rarely be up for sale and the Agency strongly improves your flexibility in many ways)
- Sell your Residential Hotel.
- Train two workers.
- Build a Real Estate Agency and a Grand Palace. Sell the Grand Palace with the Price Growth feature.
- Demolish the motel and the campground.
- Build one Residential Hotel and sell it.
- As always, keep purchasing cheaper lots and hotels when they are up for sale.
- Build three Grand Palaces and upgrade them to three stars.
- Buy the three decorations.
- Build a museum.
- Hold an exhibition.
Level 31:
- Goals: Own 12 (level 3) Grand Palaces ; Own two Memorials ; Train 25 workers
- You definitely need a Construction Mill as early as possible in this level, because there are going to be a lot of construction orders. From the existing 18 lots you will need 15 to reach your goals, so there is not a lot of buildings that you can sell.
- Train two workers. Demolish all your hotels except for the Grand Palace.
- Build one Grand Palace and sell it.
- Build a Construction Mill on the empty lot on the right hand-side, and one Grand Palace and a Memorial on the remaining two free lots.
- Upgrade your two Grand Palaces to three stars.
- At the same time, constantly train more workers and purchase rather cheap lots.
- Demolish the hotels and build new Grand Palaces on these lots.
- Build one more Memorial.
- Do not forget to use the Rapid Construction feature.
- Train workers until you have 25.
- Continue to build and upgrade Grand Palaces until you twelve three-star Grand Palaces.
Level 32:
- Goals: Build 16 Guest Houses ; Earn $8 Million
- This level is really frantic, since you only have 18 lots and definitely need 16 Guest Houses in the end, but to earn this huge amount of money you can't build all of them right in the beginning.
- Build a Residential Hotel and sell it.
- Train two workers.
- Build a Grand Palace and sell it.
- Train ten workers.
- Now you have to be really quick. Each time when a new empty lot is up for sale buy it.
- Build all in all ten Grand Palaces, and upgrade seven of them to two stars. The other three should be constructed on the three right-hand lots with income bonus, they only have to be upgraded to one star.
- On the remaining six lots you can build six Guest Houses, they do not need to be upgraded.
- All in all you should constitute an income of ~$400,000 - $420,000.
- When the timer reaches the eight minute mark you should start to replace all your ten Grand Palaces by Guest Houses, but one after another.
- Collect all the money checks you can during this level, they will really come in handy.
Level 33:
- Buy the Festivals feature at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Own seven (level 3) Grand Palaces ; Hold three festivals.
- You are not able to sell hotels in this level, so take this fact into account.
- Train two workers.
- Build a Grand Palace.
- Demolish your campground.
- Build a second Grand Palace.
- Upgrade both Grand Palaces to one star.
- Train one worker.
- Build an Amusement Park.
- Hold the three festivals as quickly as possible.
- Build two more Grand Palaces.
- Upgrade your four Grand Palaces to two stars.
- Buy two of the cheaper hotels when they are up for sale.
- Build three more Grand Palaces.
- Upgrade all your Grand Palaces to three stars.
Level 34:
- Goals:Own three (level 3) Motels ; Own two Service Buildings ; Income $150,000
- Train two workers, build a Grand Palace and sell it.
- Build another Grand Palace, a Real Estate Agency and a Construction Mill.
- Buy the cheaper lots (with motels and Guest Houses) when they are up for sale, do not forget to lower the price with your Real Estate Agency.
- Build three Motels and three more Grand Palaces.
- Upgrade all of your hotels to three stars, especially by using the Rapid Construction feature.
Level 35:
- Buy the Headquarters at the shop to play this level.
- Goals:Build your Headquarters ; Own three commercial buildings ; Income $600,000 ; Earn $5 million
- Demolish your existing Hotels, train two workers, build a Grand Palace on the right-hand lot of bottom row and sell it.
- Build a Memorial on the left-hand lot in the bottom row and a Grand Palace right beside it.
- Build another Grand Palace on the left-hand lot of the middle row.
- Begin to purchase the cheaper lots, demolish the hotels.
- Build a City Mallon the second lot from the right side in the bottom row.
- Buld a third Grand Palace on the left-hand side of the City Mall.
- Upgrade your Grand Palaces to three stars.
- Build another Grand Palace on the left-hand side of your Memorial. Upgrade this one to three stars, too.
- Build an Amusement Park.
- Build a Cafe.
- Buy the Headquarters.
- Restore the Headquarters.
- Five to the maximum upgraded Grand Palaces, combined with the Headquarters and three commercial buildings are enough to reach the income goal.

Tips, Hints :
--------------------
General Tips:
- At the opening screen of the game, you can only click on "Start" to either choose an existing profile or to create a new one
- You can choose between three different levels of difficulty each time you start a new profile. For newcomers to the game it is definitely advisable to choose the easiest ("normal") difficulty.
- The tutorial is a really good help to learn the basics of the game, so you should not skip it. Additionally, you can always click on the "Help-orb" in the left-hand corner on top of the screen if you ever want to refresh those basic rules.
- The shop, represented by the truck near your cottage, displays all of the currently available items for purchase, which change on a daily basis. Thus it is always advisable to have a look at the shop's daily offers, even if you don't have any specific needs at that moment. As soon as you have accumulated a certain amount of money you should try to have at least one unit per item in stock, so that you can be sure to fulfill every possible request by a customer
- Often, when you accept a new order, it happens that neither you nor the truck has the item the customer requests for the grave. In nearly 100 percent of these cases the truck shop will have this item available on the very next day.
- The clock in the right-hand bottom corner of the screen displays the current time of day
- As soon as it is dark outside the ghosts are coming out of their graves. If you want to work through the night to be more efficient and profitable, you should try to avoid touching ghosts, because they will send you to sleep immediately. It is very hard to do so successfully, but you should know that customers are also stopping by at night
- When your reputation has reached a decisive point, you are allowed to buy more land and you earn a medal
- Click on the "For-Sale"-sign when you are allowed to purchase more land: The first new lot will cost you $100, the second lot $5,000, and the third and last lot will cost $100,000
- The map can be accessed through the little menu in the bottom of the screen and displays your whole graveyard, including plots you may purchase in the future
- Purchase all additional lots very soon, so that you have enough free land to create only perfect graves. In this way you are as profitable as possible.
- The requirements for perfect graves are: every liked item has to be in the sphere of influence of that grave, the grave has to be connected to a path that is also connected to the entrance, disliked items are not allowed in the sphere of influence, no other grave should be in the sphere of influence.
- However, spheres of influence of two different graves can cross very well, thereby sharing decorative items and even maximizing your profit.
Controls:
- There are six different control buttons for the various actions Mr. Jones can perform. Look at the screen-shot below and the related explanations
- If you click this button, Mr. Jones will walk to any reachable location you click on. However, you are always able to walk by right-clicking on any spot, even if a different action is chosen.
- If you select this button, Mr. Jones can pick up, place down, or carry any object, such as flowers, gravestones, or structures. He can even remove certain objects from already finished graves, except for gravestones.
- This option simply allows you to dig up a grave at any fitting spot. If you have already dug out a grave, but suddenly decide that there should not be a grave in this spot, simply click on it again, and Mr. Jones will shovel up the empty pit.
- The axe allows you to cut down any large or small tree on your graveyard. Simply click on one and Mr. Jones will go there, but take into account that there will be a tree stump left, which you have to pick up with control #2, then being able to throw it into the trash can.
- This control enables Mr. Jones to create a path on any free spot on the graveyard.
- The chisel is only helpful for engraving the name of the future owner of a grave on the tombstone. The burial of anyone won't take place before you have used the chisel on the tombstone of the related grave.
- If you take any object out of a box, you can always put it back by clicking on the box for a second time.
Paths:
- For each part of the path you have to pay $1. All the customers pay extra money if the graves they pay for are connected with a path, and if this path is also connected to the entrance of your graveyard. To create a path is comparatively cheap, especially considering that a lot of customers will pay you remarkably more than $1 if the graves are connected to the path. Nevertheless you should create paths efficiently, to avoid both wasting money and worthwhile space for objects or new graves
- Later on you are also able to create cobblestone paths, which cost $4 per spot, but they appeal to every customer, on top of that giving your graveyard an even more elegant look.
Customers & Graves:
- Pictures of vehicles on the right-hand bottom corner of the screen inform you about customers who recently arrived. You can simply click on any of these images and Mr. Jones will automatically walk to the customer and talk to him, no matter which action is currently selected for him. The same goes for the Driving Shop, where you can purchase additional tombstones, flowers and structures, whose picture will be present constantly during the day.
- The sphere of influence of a grave indicates where you can put objects so that they will have a positive influence on this grave. However, you should try to avoid to create another grave in this grave's sphere of influence, because this lowers its value
- To open the list of either flowers, tombstones, or structures, you can click on both the little buttons on the bottom bar of the screen, or at the colored boxes that are scattered throughout your graveyard
- Basically there are four different types of customers, resulting in four different price ranges for graves. The cheapest graves cost between $5 and $25, then there are customers who are willing to pay $60 to $200, later on there will be orders for graves with a value of $650 to $1,500, and the most eccentric customers will be able to pay for graves within a price range from $6,000 to $100,000.
- You should take into account that it is a huge mistake to accept orders for expensive graves too early in the game, because you won't be able to satisfy the customer's requests altogether. Wait with accepting more expensive orders until you are sure that you have saved enough money to create a grave according to the customer's wishes AND the related price range.
- When the burial has taken place, the visitors will leave your graveyard, your reputation bar will fill up, and you will earn money and some Lithode crystals
- As soon as you receive payment by a customer, a review window will open up, summarising the most important aspects of this payment
- Each customer has special likes and dislikes, and you should always try to stick to those requests. Crossed out objects should be avoided at all costs in the sphere of influence of this grave, because those items will strongly lessen the appeal of this grave to the customer, and therefore also its value
- Later on you should only accept orders by customers requesting a price range between $6,000 and $100,000, because in this way you will reach your goals remarkably quicker.
VIP Customers:
- With the purchase of each new plot you will be able to bury so-called VIP at special graves. To be able to bury them you have to earn a certain amount of Lithode Crystals. As soon as you accept to bury them, there are only some days left to do so, so you should gain the required amount of Lithode crystals before you actually accept the burial. You mainly earn Lithode crystals through other burials and by walking past blue, flashing crystals that sometimes appear on your graveyard. For each successful burial of a VIP (at most three) you can choose another reward.
- The first VIP is Molly Kule. You need 250 Lithode crystals for the burials and have eight days to do so.
- For the second VIP's burial you have to earn 350 Lithode crystals and have ten days to prepare the grave.
- The third and last VIP requires 700 Lithode crystals and you have ten days to finish this burial again.
Presents:
- All in all you have to buy 10 different presents for Mimi, which get more and more expensive. My advise is to not deposit any money at the bank in the beginning, because earlier in the game you need every dollar to grow your own business. You can purchase the presents later on when you have saved enough money anyway
- Some of the presents get unlocked later on when you have purchased additional plots for your graveyard, and the tenth present, namely $1,000,000 to spend on leisure and entertainment, gets unlocked when your reputation is maximized. This can happen long before you have buried all VIPs, but you are able to keep playing even when you have already bought the last present.
Rewards:
- When you obtain certain achievements, such as buying new land or burying a VIP person, you are able to choose from eight different awards which are of great help to grow your business
- ZombGon: You can use this once per day to get rid of Zombies. In my opinion this reward is not that important, since you should try to avoid that graves lose value (and then causing a Zombie walking all over your graveyard) from the first.
- Three Gold and Obsidian Statues of animals: These statues can be found in your structures-box if you choose them, and they can be used just like ordinary structures, only that they did not cost you any dollar, and that they highly increase the worth of any grave. This reward is a pretty smart choice to create some very expensive graves.
- Mulch 4000 Tractor: In this vehicle Mr. Jones can drive instead of walk. On top of that he can cut down trees when driving this tractor, and the tree stump is removed automatically. I highly recommend this reward, since it saves you a lot of time and is a great support when your graveyard gets really large.
- A Warrior, a Cat, and a Bust: These are also three magic items which strongly increase the value of any grave. It's a choice as good as choosing reward #2.
- Shovel Attachment for the Mulch 4000: By upgrading your tractor you can even dig graves with it, and much faster than by hand. In this way you can manage every action with the Mulch. Very helpful reward.
- Five different Chess Pieces: Again, this reward includes five magic items that boost any grave's value and are liked by every customer.
- The Pathlayer for the Mulch 4000: This last addition for your tractor is highly recommended to choose. The cobblestone-paths which you can create with it are definitely worth it.
- The Magic Gem Tree: You should choose this reward as soon as you can, since it gets every job done.
Congratulations, you have helped Mr. Jones to spend the rest of his life with Mimi. Now that you have finished the game you can try to beat it again in even less time, or at a harder level of difficulty. Good luck!

Hints, Strategies, Walkthroughs :
-----------------------------------------
Introduction :
- Build-a-Lot 4: Power Source is the 4th title in the popular Resource Management game series from HipSoft.
- For each level, you are given several real estate-related Goals, like constructing a certain type of house, or raising a specific amount in rent.
- There are many different possible strategies for achieving these Goals: using resources like a Workshop to generate cheaper, faster workers; a Tech Center to supercharge your power generators; or a Garden Center to let you landscape the homes you construct and maintain public parks at lower cost.
- On each level, you can work at a leisurely pace to get a Normal score, or beat the clock for Super Speedy Efficiency.
- This guide is divided into two sections: General Tips and the Full Walkthrough.
General Tips :
- At the beginning, you can choose from Tutorial Campaign (3 levels) or Main Campaign (45 levels). If you have played previous Construct-a-Lot games, you can skip Tutorial Campaign if you like.
- After you have completed Main Campaign, you will unlock Challenge Campaign (10 levels).
- After you have completed Challenge Campaign, you will unlock Expert Campaign (10 levels).
- You can replay any previous level at any time by using the planner.
- If you have to restart a level for any reason, or you go back to play it again through the planner, the arrangement of lots may be somewhat different, but the key factors will be the same.
- The big new feature is power management! If your neighborhood uses more energy than your power generators provide, you go into a black-out. During a black-out you can still buy, sell, upgrade, add Energy Savers, construct, and demolish. But you don’t collect rent.
- It is possible to get stuck in a black-out that you can’t get out of if you need to repair a power generator and you don’t have enough money to buy the materials to do so.
- Most of the time you will be able to work your way out of a black-out by adding additional Energy Saver features to existing houses, building new power generators, or even demolishing some properties.
- There is a special trophy for going seven levels in a row without a black-out, but it can be very difficult to get the Speedy Efficiency award for the level if you’re also going for no black-outs. So you may have to play some levels twice to get both.
- If you’re going to construct a new house and you’re close to the black-out line, it’s a good idea to make sure you have enough materials to also add Energy Savers to the new house.
- Most houses will be energy neutral if they have three added Energy Savers. If you’re waiting for a power generator to complete, you can still paint, upgrade, demolish, and add Energy Savers even during a black-out, so stay busy.
- Once you start constructing Condos and larger houses you’re going to need a lot of power.
- Shops and recreation facilities also require power.
- If you’re going for the Speedy award on a level, you will generally start out by constructing one large house to sell for cash, a power source, and a large house or shop to keep for rent income.
- The key to this game is multi-tasking. You need to keep workers and technicians busy, and keep power online.
- Try to anticipate material or power shortages and buy what you need ahead of time to allow for continuous work.
- When you hear the black-out siren, you have a few seconds before the generator goes offline. In that time you can try adding more Energy Savers, demolishing a property you don’t need, or building another power source.
- The larger the generator, the more materials it will take to repair, anywhere from 100 to 1,000 units.
- If a generator breaks and you go into a blackout, you will have to repair it before you can complete the level; so once you get to higher levels with more resources, try to keep enough materials in reserve to do a needed repair.
- Apartments appear to require the most energy, but you can make them energy-neutral by adding three Energy Savers.
- Fancy shops require the second most power, and there is no way to make them more energy efficient after they are built.
- It is usually best to wait and buy materials in large lots, 1,000 units at a minimum. The exception is if you need to repair a power facility, or a single rental income property.
- If you need to build a lot of large houses, say four or more Georgians or Apartments, it is almost always more efficient to build several houses first, then go back and upgrade them.
- If a house is damaged, repair it right away, or demolish it if you are just going to build something else there.
- If you are going to build a Recycling Center, wait to demolish houses until it has completed building, and you will get credit for some of the materials from the demolished property.
- The Recycling Center saves you money by cutting the cost of materials in half. You can demolish it towards the end of a level if you have rental properties or sales making lots of cash.
- The Workshop not only saves you money by letting you train workers for half-price; it also provides Lightning Efficiency training which makes your works work much faster. This saves you a lot of time. It’s important any time you have to paint, landscape, upgrade, construct or demolish houses.
- The Garden Center lets you add landscaping which improves Appeal rating and also automatically maintains recreations. This can save you time and money on levels with several recreations, but you can still probably demolish it before the end of the level if necessary.
- The Tech Center lets you train technicians for half price, saving you money, and is also the only way to assign workers to supercharge power facilities.
- Once the workers are assigned, you can demolish the Tech Center and the facilities will stay supercharged.
- However, if you are using the Genius Certificate upgrade to the Tech Center to make the Tech Center works work faster, you will lose that if you demolish the Tech Center.
- The Business Center handles staffing for Fancy shops so you get continuous income. It’s only important on levels where you need a lot of shops.
- Once you get up to level 20, a standard strategy for many levels will be the Workshop First Strategy. Construct a Workshop. Buy Lightning Efficiency training so the workers work faster. Train 3 workers. Construct 1 expensive house, paint it, and upgrade it 2 times. Buy 1,000 units of materials, which will pay for the 3rd upgrade on the cash house and the Recycling Center. Upgrade the house to 3-Stars, then sell it for cash. Construct the Recycling Center. Buy 5,000 units of materials. Construct a power source. Construct another big house and keep it for rent. Then get down to the specific requirements of the level.
- An alternative for levels where you need to build really big houses and you have fewer materials is the Cash Sale First strategy. First train 2 workers. Then build a large house and sell it for cash. Build the Recycling Center. Buy 15,000 units of materials. Build the Workshop. Buy Lightning Efficiency training. Train 2 more workers. Build a large power source. Build a large house/shop for rental income.
- You will use the Cash Sale First strategy to make Speedy on most of the Challenge Campaign levels.
- If you start the level already owning a big house you can upgrade and sell, you just skip that construction step in either standard strategy.
- If you need a lot of cash quickly, upgrade before you add Energy Savers.
- If you are close to going into a black-out, add Energy Savers before upgrading.
- If you are need to finish quickly, try to keep both Workers (who do upgrades) and Technicians (who add Energy Savers) busy, by working some properties with upgrades while other properties are getting Energy Savers.
- In levels where you need to get a high Appeal rating, it will be useful to build a Garden Center early in a spot between two houses where you will eventually place a recreation facility. Use the Garden Center to landscape a number of houses, then demolish it and construct the recreation facility in its spot.
- Recreation facilities (also called "recreations" in the game) add a positive Appeal value for the lot they are on, plus the same amount for any house they influence. So an Amphitheater gives you +25 Appeal when you build it even if it’s not near any houses. Put it between two houses, and it has increased the Appeal by +75, +25 for its own lot and +25 for each of the houses.
- The more houses you will have on a level, the more valuable the painting and landscaping bonuses are towards making an Appeal goal.
- 4 painted and landscaped houses will cancel out the negative Appeal factor of a Nuclear reactor.
- It’s almost always worth buying an empty lot as they become available.
- To view your trophies, you must be in a level, but it doesn’t matter which one. Click on the Trophy symbol in the top bar and the Trophy list will open up. Each Trophy slot is clearly identified so you can see what you have to do to earn it.
- If you really need to buy a specific property and it’s too expensive, you can try putting several of your own properties up for sale and then offering a low-ball price. However, this strategy works best for fast clickers, as it requires a lot of click maintenance to respond to the offers on your own houses.
- In addition, while a house is up for sale it collects no rent, so you may lose more money from lost rent than you gain in low-balling another property.
- If you demolish a power generator at the very end of a level, you will have a few seconds before the neighborhood goes into black-out. If you have made all your goals at that moment, the level will end and you will get credit even though it’s about to have a power failure.
- Demolishing a Nuclear Reactor at the very end of a level can be an important strategy for making an Appeal Goal.
- There are many different strategies that work for every level, so feel free to experiment!
- All walkthroughs are designed to get the Speedy award for that level.
- To match the terminology in the game, we will say "upgrade" to add a star and "add Energy Saver" to add a light bulb. A "Triple Energy Saver" has 3 light bulbs.
- To match the terminology in the game, "house" means any single lot residential unit, from an A-Frame to Apartments.
- The screenshot for each level shows the completion stage when all goals have been met unless otherwise noted in the text.

Great Adventure game, very good story line.
Great graphics and game play.
Game is simple to play, exciting.

How to play:
My Kingdom for the Princess is a strategic game, where you click on locations, places and people to interact with them, and complete the tasks set out for you in that level, and create a clear path for you to exit the level.
Bonus:
At the bottom of the screen, you see a bar that slowly fills up, with a little logo in the middle. This logo shows you which bonus the level has, and once it lights up you can activate it. In later levels, you will have the choice between multiple bonusses; so if for instance (see screenshot) you want an extra worker instead of extra supplies, just wait for the extra worker-icon to light up.
An important tip when it comes to bonusses, is to time them right, so you can make the most of it. For instance, if you want to use the "work faster"-bonus, don't activate it immediately when available, but wait until one of your workers has actually started working. And if you want to use the "extra supplies"-bonus, wait just before your worker enters the house. This way, you don't spend valuable time on just walking somewhere.
Reading the walkthrough:
The first few levels, will describe pretty much step by step what to do and where to go. This is to help you get a feel of how you plan effectively in this game.
After that, I will list the priorities in which you can best take up tasks, in order to play the level most effectively, and go for an expert score. The trick is to work your way in one main direction, constructing the buildings as you go. Unless stated otherwise, constructing a building has priority over finishing a certain part of the map.
TIPS TO GET THAT EXPERT SCORE:
- Take your time when you enter the level. The timer doesn't start until you click for the first time, so take your time to oversee the level and plan ahead.
- You can only set one action at a time per worker. So it is not possible, like in many time-management games, to give your character multiple tasks at once. However, once you have multiple worker, you can assign one task for each of them. If one worker is clearing the path, you can send the other worker down that path shortly before the worker is finished. This will save you valuable seconds.
- Keep an eye on the spots where you gathered free supplies before. These supplies will often regenerate during the level.
- The warehouse is more valuable than you'd think at first. Try and build, and upgrade this as soon as possible, if it is available in a level. My prefered order is usually: build the warehouse, build the sawmill, upgrade the sawmill, upgrade the warhouse.
- Despite the time pressure, it can sometimes be better to wait two seconds for a building to be build, before picking up a resource. If you have related buildings (i.e. a sawmill for logs), the resource you pick up is worth more.
- If you are waiting for a worker to clear the last path, you can go out and gather some extra free supplies for bonus points. However, make sure you're back before the last worker, since you don't want to have to wait for that worker gathering supplies; time is much more valuable than supplies.
- Keep moving! Even if you're waiting for resources to load to continue down the path you've chosen, do something else, even if it's in the other direction.
- A well makes your workers work faster, but it is generally not interesting to go out of your way to repair one. If you have to build bridges, or restore quite a few roads to get there; only repair wells that are on your route, or if you have one of your workers with nothing else to do.
Walkthrough
Level 1.1
Tasks: Chop up 3 fallen trees and branches
After watching the intro, enter the first level. This is a very simple tutorial level, so just follow the game's directions.
Level 1.2
Tasks: Construct one farm; Repair the bridge
Construct a a farm, simply by clicking on the empty location. When the farm is build, it will provide you with 1 unit of food per minute, which your worker will need to keep going. Now chop up the several fallen trees lying on the paths to collect wood.
Don't forget to pick up the free supply of food just above your farm. If your worker runs out of food, just wait for a new supply of food to be offered by the farm, and pick it up.
When you find broken (dilapidated) pieces of road, just click on it to fix it. After fixing the road, just before the bridge, you will find a free supply of wood; take it. Now click on the bridge to fix it, and you will be able to continue your journey.
Level 1.3
Tasks: Construct one farm; Construct one cottage; Turn 5 sections of swamp into road using logs
Turn your worker's shack into a cottage by clicking on it, and at the same time, start building a farm. Once the cottage is finished, you will have a second worker. Use one worker to clear the fallen trees on the west path, and the other to clear them on the south path, and collect two free supplies of wood. While clearing the trees, you can send the other worker to start building a log path through the swamp. While you receive enough logs to clear the level, keep an eye on the southern path; free supplies of logs will slowly reappear, and while you don't need them to finish the level, any supplies you have extra add up to your score.
Level 1.4
Tasks: Repair the sawmill; Turn 7 sections of swamp into road using logs
Turn your worker's shack into a cottage and build a farm. Gather the two free supplies of wood and start clearing the fallen trees. Once you have gathered 15 wood logs, send one of your workers to fix the bridge. Once you've completed the bridge, build the sawmill and when that is done, start building a log path through the swamp to finish the level.
Level 1.5
Tasks: Pick 3 flowers; Repair 2 bridges
Bonus: faster workers
Start by gathering enough wood -10 in total- to build a cottage and get your second worker. Gather wood to build the sawmil and start fixing the broken farm in the West. As you work your way through the fallen trees to the flower field in the North, build the farm when you have enoug resources. Once you have a clear path to the flower field, gather the 3 flowers and start working your way East, fixing bridges and roads as your progress.
This is the first level that you are given a bonus: faster workers
Level 1.6
Building priorities:
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Build a sawmill
Map priorities:
If you built a farm first, you should have plenty food to work your way through the forests. The most time-saving strategy is to gather gold, plant a flower, gather gold, plant a flower, gather gold and plant the last flower. With your other worker, just work your way to the exit.
Level 1.7
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (after reaching the south beach)
- Build the temple (after starting on the first bridge)
Map priorities:
After building the the sawmill and farm, work your way to collect the pearls on the south beach. When you've collected these, work north through the forest, and send your other worker north east to the broken bridge. Build the temple to remove the ghost; start on this just after starting repairing the bridge.
Level 1.8
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (after finishing the south bridge)
Map priorities:
First work south, towards the the broken sawmill. Once you've finished the south bridge leading to the sawmill, build a cottage and as soon as that is finished, start working towards the swamp in the north east.
Level 1.9
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (once you've reached the brick path in the north west)
Map priorities:
Start by clearing and collecting the items on the southern path, build the sawmill as soon as possible, and continue collecting until you finished the farm. Now work north through the swamp, and once you've reached the brick road, build the cottage and send your second worker east. Working east, first focus on fixing the sawmill; after that, simultaneously finish the middle south path, and the south east path to the exit.
Level 1.10
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 1.11
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (once you've built the first bridge)

- As soon as you have your second worker, send him to work towards the exit north east
Level 2.6
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.

Level 2.12
Mini game
Level 3.1
Building priorities:
- Build and uprgade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start working towards the broken well in the south west, the to the fisherman's cottage in the north west, and finally towards the exit. As soon as you have a second worker, deploy him to start working on the path towards the exit.
Level 3.2
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start working towards the broken well in the north, and then start on the east path towards the exit, clearing the sidepaths as you pass them. As soon as you have a second worker, have him first focus on the desert rose before having him help you on the exit path.
Level 3.3
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start your way north to the stacks of wood. Make sure you have the fully upraded warehouse before you start collecting that wood. If you don't have it yet, start clearing the other paths in the meantime. Then start working on the path to the east, and when you get a second worker, deploy him for the north route to the exit.
Level 3.4
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the market
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start by heading east to the well, and repair it. Gather as least supplies going there. Wait with gathering supplies for the warehouse to have been build. Now first start working towards the desert rose in the west and also repair the fisherman's cottage there. You should have a second worker by now, so split the work between the north west path to the gold, and the rock path to the exit. Don't mind the north east well area, unless you have a worker with nothing to do.
Level 3.5
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a cottage
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
Work west to the three bridges, and rebuild these in the order: middle, east, west. Make sure you fully upgrade your warehouse before collecting the supplies on the other side of the stream. As soon as the bridges are finished, focus on working north west towards the exit. The north east well, and the supplies just south of that, can be scheduled when you have a second worker.
Level 3.6
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
First start working towards the fisherman's cottage you can repair in the center of the map. Then continue to work your way in this west and south west area, and make sure you've crossed the quick sand leading to the desert roses, before saving up wood for- and building the bridge in the far north..
Level 3.7
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the market
- Build baracks
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
Go east and north, to get the two stacks of logs from behind the rocks; don't start building the bridge, but start your way working to the center north, where you repair the fisherman's hut. Start working on the rocky road, and as soon as you have a second worker, send him east to the broken sawmill.
Level 3.8
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 3.9
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build the market
- Build the fisherman hut
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the market

- Upgrade the fisherman hut
- Upgrade your cottage to a lodge
Map priorities:
- As soon as you have the warehouse built, start collecting supplies around your house
- Work your way south east to the well
- Finish clearing the eastern part of the map
- Work your way to the supplies south with one worker, while starting on the bridge west with another
- Start working north east; as soon as you've finished collecting supplies in the south, start working your way through the rocks that lead to the exit
Level 3.10
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the market
- Build baracks
- Build a well
- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
Since you don't have a warehouse in this level, it is really important to keep collecting supplies and use them effectively. For instance, if you have 18 gold and 5 wood, clean some sand path, so you don't waste collected supplies because you can't keep more than 20 supplies of one type. Time the use of the "more supplies"-bonus to keep a constant stream going. Alternatively start working on the quicksand-area with the gold supplies, and the west route towards the burried treasure. Start on the rock path as soon as you have access to the gold in the quicksand and area and you have a second worker, since clearing that path takes a long time.
Level 3.11
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build and upgrade a market
- Build a cottage
- Build a well
- Build a lodge
- Upgrade the fisherman's hut
Map priorities:
- Work to the fisherman's hut in the north east
- Work the north west path towards the well
- Repair the fisherman's hut in the west, across the river
- Work the south west path -don't forget the potion, and then the south east path
- As soon as you have a free worker, start working on the rock path to the exit in the south
Level 3.12
Mini game
Level 4.1
Collect 2 logs and build a sawmill. Collect food while you wait for the sawmill to finish, and then collect the rest of the wood and start working towards the exit. All you need now for building is upgrading the sawmill; you can better use the wood for the ice.
Level 4.2
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the sawmill
- No need to build a lodge or farm
Map priorities:
This is a pretty straight forward level. Start working north, and when you have a second worker, let him work to the wood supplies in the south.

- Build a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build and upgrade a farm

Level 4.4
Building priorities:
- Build a farm
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the farm
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the farm
- Build barracks
- Build a cottage and a lodge
Map priorities:
Start working north to the fisherman's hut as soon as you can, and then continue north. Save the gold supplies in the south west for when you need them. Don't spend your time or resources on the sawmill in the west; you don't need it.

- Work towards the exit
Level 4.6
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build and upgrade a farm
- Build a cottage and a lodge
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
- Clear trees for logs

- Build a warehouse and fully upgrade it
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage

- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
- South east path
- West path
- East path to the exit
Level 4.8
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Fully upgrade the fisherman's hut (after building the south bridge)
- Build a cottage
- Build a temple
- Build a farm and fully upgrade it
Map priorities:
Start working on the west path with boulders, and then go north east. In the meantime, work to the north east. Wait with lighting the torches until the end.
Level 4.9
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a lodge
- Build a temple
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
Start with just gathering supplies, working either way north. As soon as you have a second worker, have him start on the long path to the exit.
Level 4.10
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 4.11
Building priorities:
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build and fully upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the fisherman's hut
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Fully upgrade the farm
- Build a lodge
- Build a temple
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
A tricky last level, where again you have no warehouse to use; so the general strategy is, go where the resources are, and use the resources before they stack up to 20. Start working south west and mid north, then go to the ghost area, the polar bear in the north, and the mid-west. Wait with collecting the keys until you've cleared the boulder path to the exit, and are working on the bridges.
