General Tips :
- There are nine chapters in this game, all with varying amounts of scenes that you need to visit.
- There is no timer in the game.
- You can toggle between rooms by clicking on the pictures that are located in the lower left side of the scene. Each picture you hover over will have the name of that particular scene.
- Some of the pictures will be locked and can only be unlocked once other actions have been performed.
- At the end of most Hidden Object searches, you will have a Key Item go into your inventory in the bottom left side of the page. Use these Key Items to unlock certain scenes or to use in puzzles.
- If you get stuck in the game, you can click on the butterfly icon in the top left corner to use a hint. The butterfly will fly to show you one of the items on your list.
- The hints can also show you where your next location will be. Click on the hint, and the butterfly may fly towards one of the pictures in the lower left side. The hint can also show you an item, or door that you need to investigate.
- The hints are unlimited but you do have to wait for them to recharge before you can use them again. They do not take that long to recharge, so there isn’t that much waiting time between each use.
- If you click randomly in the scene, it will disable your cursor for a few seconds. You will be able to start using the cursor again once it ceases to float around the scene.
- When you replay the game under the same profile, it gives you new objects to look for. It also gives you alternate fragmented pieces to look for when you open the red tarot cards.
- Your cursor can change shapes when you pass it over an area that you need to interact with in a scene.
- Each cursor has a different meaning in the game.
- Arrows – The arrows allow you to move between scenes without having to use the pictures in the lower left side of the scene.
- Gears – When you see two silver gears appear in the scene, it means that you need to solve a puzzle or use one of your Key Items on that item.
- Magnifying Glass – The magnifying glass allows you to look at an item from a closer point of view, like a drawer or inside a fridge.
- In order to find some of the objects in the scene, you have to find the tarot cards in the scene; some are hidden, others are in plain view.
- Whatever tarot cards are available in a scene will be shown to you on the left side of the page. The cards that are visible to the naked eye will be shown in full color.
- The tarot cards that are hidden in that scene will have an eye icon in their upper right corners. To find the hidden cards in a scene you have to use a tool from your inventory.
- If you find more than one card at a time, they will be stacked on top of each other on the left side of the page. If you click on a hint while several cards are open, the hint will show you an item from the card that is on top of the pile.
- Each colored tarot card has a different way to show you how the items need to be found. Please read below for a brief description of each.
- Blue Tarot Cards – will show you a list of items that you need to find in that scene.
- Green Tarot Cards –will show you silhouettes of the items that you need to find in the scene.
- Red Tarot Cards – will show you a picture of the item you need to look for. The catch is that you have to find the fragmented pieces of that item.
- Each red card may have more than one fragmented item that you need to look for. Look at the bottom of the red card to see how many items you need to look for in that scene.
- You can toggle between which items you want to look for in the red cards. Click on the desired icon at the bottom of the red card to switch between items.
- If you need to read the instructions for a mini-game, all you have to do is click on the question mark located in the lower left side of the puzzle. Once you finish reading the instructions, click on the “X” in the upper right corner to exit out of there.
- You can skip any mini-game by clicking on the skip button located in the lower right corner of the puzzle. However, you cannot use the skip button until the button is filled in green and the word “skip” is written in yellow.

Hints, Tip, Walkthroughs :
---------------------------------
GAME OVERVIEW
- This game has nine chapters total. Each chapter has several scenes and a couple of puzzles between each chapter.
- The premise of this game is to find hidden pieces in the scene to complete the items in silhouette at the bottom of the page.
- Once the items have been completed you need to use them in other areas in the scene.
- The game does not make you complete scenes and puzzles in a certain amount of time, but it does keep track of how long you’ve been playing. However, it adds or subtracts time to your overall playing time depending on your actions.
- If you complete a puzzle without skipping it, the game deducts two minutes from your overall time. If you use a hint, the game adds five minutes to your total.
- Each scene has different doors that you can travel through to access other areas. Some of these doors may need to be unlocked before you enter through them.
- New pieces appear constantly in the scenes. The broken pieces will not be in a scene until you unlock them.
INVENTORY ITEMS/BROKEN PIECES
- At the bottom of the screen you will have a picture of the items you need to look for in the scene. Those items will be broken into several pieces throughout the scene.
- Make sure that you scroll through your inventory items by using the arrow on either end of the box so you can see all your available items.
- Each time you complete an item, the green bar in the lower right corner will become fuller. The greener the meter is, the closer you are to completing that chapter.
HINTS
- To obtain a hint in the game, you have to click on the red amulet in the lower right corner. Then, you have to click on the item you want to find, and it will show you where the item is.
- A beam of light will shine on the item that you need to pick up. If the item is in a different room, the game will automatically take you to the room in which the item is located.
- Each time you use a hint, the locket will be discharged. As soon as the locket is completely red, it will be ready for use again.
- If you don’t want to use a hint, you can click on the silhouetted (incomplete) item at the bottom of the page, and the game will show you exact images of the broken items you need to find.
- Each hint you use will add five minutes to your cumulative playing time.
PUZZLES
- There are several puzzles in the game. You can choose to skip a puzzle if you do not wish to play it, but you have to wait for the hint button to be green before you do.
- If you don’t understand the instructions for a puzzle, just click on the help tab located in the lower left corner of the scene.

Hints, Strategies :
-------------------------
How to play:
My Kingdom for the Princess is a strategic game, where you click on locations, places and people to interact with them, and complete the tasks set out for you in that level, and create a clear path for you to exit the level.
Bonus:
At the bottom of the screen, you see a bar that slowly fills up, with a little logo in the middle. This logo shows you which bonus the level has, and once it lights up you can activate it. In later levels, you will have the choice between multiple bonusses; so if for instance (see screenshot) you want an extra worker instead of extra supplies, just wait for the extra worker-icon to light up.
An important tip when it comes to bonusses, is to time them right, so you can make the most of it. For instance, if you want to use the "work faster"-bonus, don't activate it immediately when available, but wait until one of your workers has actually started working. And if you want to use the "extra supplies"-bonus, wait just before your worker enters the house. This way, you don't spend valuable time on just walking somewhere.
Reading the walkthrough:
The first few levels, will describe pretty much step by step what to do and where to go. This is to help you get a feel of how you plan effectively in this game.
After that, I will list the priorities in which you can best take up tasks, in order to play the level most effectively, and go for an expert score. The trick is to work your way in one main direction, constructing the buildings as you go. Unless stated otherwise, constructing a building has priority over finishing a certain part of the map.
TIPS TO GET THAT EXPERT SCORE:
- Take your time when you enter the level. The timer doesn't start until you click for the first time, so take your time to oversee the level and plan ahead.
- You can only set one action at a time per worker. So it is not possible, like in many time-management games, to give your character multiple tasks at once. However, once you have multiple worker, you can assign one task for each of them. If one worker is clearing the path, you can send the other worker down that path shortly before the worker is finished. This will save you valuable seconds.
- Keep an eye on the spots where you gathered free supplies before. These supplies will often regenerate during the level.
- The warehouse is more valuable than you'd think at first. Try and build, and upgrade this as soon as possible, if it is available in a level. My prefered order is usually: build the warehouse, build the sawmill, upgrade the sawmill, upgrade the warhouse.
- Despite the time pressure, it can sometimes be better to wait two seconds for a building to be build, before picking up a resource. If you have related buildings (i.e. a sawmill for logs), the resource you pick up is worth more.
- If you are waiting for a worker to clear the last path, you can go out and gather some extra free supplies for bonus points. However, make sure you're back before the last worker, since you don't want to have to wait for that worker gathering supplies; time is much more valuable than supplies.
- Keep moving! Even if you're waiting for resources to load to continue down the path you've chosen, do something else, even if it's in the other direction.
- A well makes your workers work faster, but it is generally not interesting to go out of your way to repair one. If you have to build bridges, or restore quite a few roads to get there; only repair wells that are on your route, or if you have one of your workers with nothing else to do.
Walkthrough
Level 1.1
Tasks: Chop up 3 fallen trees and branches
After watching the intro, enter the first level. This is a very simple tutorial level, so just follow the game's directions.
Level 1.2
Tasks: Construct one farm; Repair the bridge
Construct a a farm, simply by clicking on the empty location. When the farm is build, it will provide you with 1 unit of food per minute, which your worker will need to keep going. Now chop up the several fallen trees lying on the paths to collect wood.
Don't forget to pick up the free supply of food just above your farm. If your worker runs out of food, just wait for a new supply of food to be offered by the farm, and pick it up.
When you find broken (dilapidated) pieces of road, just click on it to fix it. After fixing the road, just before the bridge, you will find a free supply of wood; take it. Now click on the bridge to fix it, and you will be able to continue your journey.
Level 1.3
Tasks: Construct one farm; Construct one cottage; Turn 5 sections of swamp into road using logs
Turn your worker's shack into a cottage by clicking on it, and at the same time, start building a farm. Once the cottage is finished, you will have a second worker. Use one worker to clear the fallen trees on the west path, and the other to clear them on the south path, and collect two free supplies of wood. While clearing the trees, you can send the other worker to start building a log path through the swamp. While you receive enough logs to clear the level, keep an eye on the southern path; free supplies of logs will slowly reappear, and while you don't need them to finish the level, any supplies you have extra add up to your score.
Level 1.4
Tasks: Repair the sawmill; Turn 7 sections of swamp into road using logs
Turn your worker's shack into a cottage and build a farm. Gather the two free supplies of wood and start clearing the fallen trees. Once you have gathered 15 wood logs, send one of your workers to fix the bridge. Once you've completed the bridge, build the sawmill and when that is done, start building a log path through the swamp to finish the level.
Level 1.5
Tasks: Pick 3 flowers; Repair 2 bridges
Bonus: faster workers
Start by gathering enough wood -10 in total- to build a cottage and get your second worker. Gather wood to build the sawmil and start fixing the broken farm in the West. As you work your way through the fallen trees to the flower field in the North, build the farm when you have enoug resources. Once you have a clear path to the flower field, gather the 3 flowers and start working your way East, fixing bridges and roads as your progress.
This is the first level that you are given a bonus: faster workers
Level 1.6
Building priorities:
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Build a sawmill
Map priorities:
If you built a farm first, you should have plenty food to work your way through the forests. The most time-saving strategy is to gather gold, plant a flower, gather gold, plant a flower, gather gold and plant the last flower. With your other worker, just work your way to the exit.
Level 1.7
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (after reaching the south beach)
- Build the temple (after starting on the first bridge)
Map priorities:
After building the the sawmill and farm, work your way to collect the pearls on the south beach. When you've collected these, work north through the forest, and send your other worker north east to the broken bridge. Build the temple to remove the ghost; start on this just after starting repairing the bridge.
Level 1.8
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (after finishing the south bridge)
Map priorities:
First work south, towards the the broken sawmill. Once you've finished the south bridge leading to the sawmill, build a cottage and as soon as that is finished, start working towards the swamp in the north east.
Level 1.9
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (once you've reached the brick path in the north west)
Map priorities:
Start by clearing and collecting the items on the southern path, build the sawmill as soon as possible, and continue collecting until you finished the farm. Now work north through the swamp, and once you've reached the brick road, build the cottage and send your second worker east. Working east, first focus on fixing the sawmill; after that, simultaneously finish the middle south path, and the south east path to the exit.
Level 1.10
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 1.11
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage (once you've built the first bridge)

- When finished building the temple, go south east and gather the flowers
- As soon as you have your second worker, send him to work towards the exit north east
Level 2.6
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.

- Build a farm
- Build a mine
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a temple

Level 2.11
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the farm
- Build a temple
Map priorities:

Level 2.12
Mini game
Level 3.1
Building priorities:
- Build and uprgade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start working towards the broken well in the south west, the to the fisherman's cottage in the north west, and finally towards the exit. As soon as you have a second worker, deploy him to start working on the path towards the exit.
Level 3.2
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start working towards the broken well in the north, and then start on the east path towards the exit, clearing the sidepaths as you pass them. As soon as you have a second worker, have him first focus on the desert rose before having him help you on the exit path.
Level 3.3
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start your way north to the stacks of wood. Make sure you have the fully upraded warehouse before you start collecting that wood. If you don't have it yet, start clearing the other paths in the meantime. Then start working on the path to the east, and when you get a second worker, deploy him for the north route to the exit.
Level 3.4
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the market
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build a cottage
Map priorities:
Start by heading east to the well, and repair it. Gather as least supplies going there. Wait with gathering supplies for the warehouse to have been build. Now first start working towards the desert rose in the west and also repair the fisherman's cottage there. You should have a second worker by now, so split the work between the north west path to the gold, and the rock path to the exit. Don't mind the north east well area, unless you have a worker with nothing to do.
Level 3.5
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a cottage
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
Work west to the three bridges, and rebuild these in the order: middle, east, west. Make sure you fully upgrade your warehouse before collecting the supplies on the other side of the stream. As soon as the bridges are finished, focus on working north west towards the exit. The north east well, and the supplies just south of that, can be scheduled when you have a second worker.
Level 3.6
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
First start working towards the fisherman's cottage you can repair in the center of the map. Then continue to work your way in this west and south west area, and make sure you've crossed the quick sand leading to the desert roses, before saving up wood for- and building the bridge in the far north..
Level 3.7
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the market
- Build baracks
- Build a well (only if you have time and supplies left after reaching the rocks before the exit)
Map priorities:
Go east and north, to get the two stacks of logs from behind the rocks; don't start building the bridge, but start your way working to the center north, where you repair the fisherman's hut. Start working on the rocky road, and as soon as you have a second worker, send him east to the broken sawmill.
Level 3.8
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 3.9
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build a sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build the market
- Build the fisherman hut
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the market

- Upgrade your cottage to a lodge
Map priorities:
- As soon as you have the warehouse built, start collecting supplies around your house
- Work your way south east to the well
- Finish clearing the eastern part of the map
- Work your way to the supplies south with one worker, while starting on the bridge west with another
- Start working north east; as soon as you've finished collecting supplies in the south, start working your way through the rocks that lead to the exit
Level 3.10
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a market
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the market
- Build baracks
- Build a well
- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
Since you don't have a warehouse in this level, it is really important to keep collecting supplies and use them effectively. For instance, if you have 18 gold and 5 wood, clean some sand path, so you don't waste collected supplies because you can't keep more than 20 supplies of one type. Time the use of the "more supplies"-bonus to keep a constant stream going. Alternatively start working on the quicksand-area with the gold supplies, and the west route towards the burried treasure. Start on the rock path as soon as you have access to the gold in the quicksand and area and you have a second worker, since clearing that path takes a long time.
Level 3.11
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build and upgrade a market
- Build a cottage
- Build a well
- Build a lodge
- Upgrade the fisherman's hut
Map priorities:
- Work to the fisherman's hut in the north east
- Work the north west path towards the well
- Repair the fisherman's hut in the west, across the river
- Work the south west path -don't forget the potion, and then the south east path
- As soon as you have a free worker, start working on the rock path to the exit in the south
Level 3.12
Mini game
Level 4.1
Collect 2 logs and build a sawmill. Collect food while you wait for the sawmill to finish, and then collect the rest of the wood and start working towards the exit. All you need now for building is upgrading the sawmill; you can better use the wood for the ice.
Level 4.2
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade a warehouse
- Build and upgrade a sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the sawmill
- No need to build a lodge or farm
Map priorities:
This is a pretty straight forward level. Start working north, and when you have a second worker, let him work to the wood supplies in the south.
Level 4.3
Building priorities:
- Build a sawmill
- Build a warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Build and upgrade a farm
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the farm
- Build a temple
- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
Start with the south path, and go north towards the exit once you've either cleared the south path or got a second worker.
Level 4.4
Building priorities:
- Build a farm
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the farm
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the farm
- Build barracks
- Build a cottage and a lodge
Map priorities:
Start working north to the fisherman's hut as soon as you can, and then continue north. Save the gold supplies in the south west for when you need them. Don't spend your time or resources on the sawmill in the west; you don't need it.
Level 4.5
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a cottage
- Build a temple
- Build barracks
- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
- Clear the paths to the west
- Work to the food supplies behind the ghost in the middle
- Repair the fisherman's hut in the north west, behind the polar bear
- Repair the fisherman's hut in the south east
- Work towards the exit
Level 4.6
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build and upgrade a farm
- Build a cottage and a lodge
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
- Clear trees for logs
- Start working to the south west for the fishing enterprice
- Work north east, and then nort west
Level 4.7
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse and fully upgrade it
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build a cottage
- Fully upgrade the fisherman's hut
- Build a lodge
Map priorities:
- South east path
- West path
- East path to the exit
Level 4.8
Building priorities:
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Fully upgrade the fisherman's hut (after building the south bridge)
- Build a cottage
- Build a temple
- Build a farm and fully upgrade it
Map priorities:
Start working on the west path with boulders, and then go north east. In the meantime, work to the north east. Wait with lighting the torches until the end.
Level 4.9
Building priorities:
- Build a warehouse
- Build and upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the warehouse
- Build a lodge
- Build a temple
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
Start with just gathering supplies, working either way north. As soon as you have a second worker, have him start on the long path to the exit.
Level 4.10
This level is really easy, if you can keep your head. All you have to do is send your 4 workers out to collect all the gold. The key to doing this effectively, is by spreading them out, one in each direction, so they don't have to wait for eachother and constantly keep them moving.
Level 4.11
Building priorities:
- Build a fisherman's hut
- Build and fully upgrade the sawmill
- Upgrade the fisherman's hut
- Build a farm
- Build a cottage
- Fully upgrade the farm
- Build a lodge
- Build a temple
- Build barracks
Map priorities:
A tricky last level, where again you have no warehouse to use; so the general strategy is, go where the resources are, and use the resources before they stack up to 20. Start working south west and mid north, then go to the ghost area, the polar bear in the north, and the mid-west. Wait with collecting the keys until you've cleared the boulder path to the exit, and are working on the bridges.

Hints, Strategies, Cheats :
----------------------------------
Hints :
* Make sure to plant your first seed right away (drop an adult villager - butWalkthroughs :
not a nursing mom - on the seed near the lift). That seed may be a mango,
papaya,or banana (random chance).
* The lift is useful for placing an adult and being able find them in the same
place a few seconds later. (i.e. for getting the couples you want for making
babies.) Other places are the waterfalls and bath (when complete.)
The villagers will stay in that location for several seconds before wandering
off to work or play.
* When your adults are collecting objects (keys, firewood, etc.), they may drop
them if interrupted by a celebration or if you click on them. The item will
then"warp" back to where it was found originally.
* The (collectible) tablet pieces will start to appear near the rubble when the
rubble clearing project has gotten started with at least 2%.
The six herbs (your villagers will "see" these herbs when you fly them over):
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* The Cactus is located just above the Science area.
* The Black Orchid is on the edge of the grassy area below the orchard
* The Rose is located on the right edge of the orchard, below the hanging thing
* The Lotus is to the left of the stairs near the bath
* The Tiger Lily is partway up the path to the door (orange flower on right)
* The Berry (Magic) or Pitcher Plant (Nature) is located to the left of the alchemy lab, where the kids go when nature calls. These plants only appear when you have purchased Level 2 in your faction.
Puzzle:
-------
-=Puzzle 1=-
The First Chief. Drop all your villagers on the robes in the amphitheater: any villager except nursing moms can become chief. If you can't find your chief right away, wait until the moms no longer have babies and drop them on the robe. (You will need to repeat this process each time the chief dies.)
-=Puzzle 2=-
The Bee Hive. First, light the fire (collect wood and dry grass inthe firepit, then light the fire).
Then drop an adult villager on the burned out torches near the hive.
He/she will return the torch to the hive and calm the bees so you can collect honey.
-=Puzzle 3=-
The Alchemy Lab.
You will need an Adept Scientist (or more than one).
Scattered around the village (random locations) are 2 colored pots (red or yellow with white stripes), a brown pot, a gray bowl with spoons, and a short spear (orange-brown handle with gray blade).
Drop your scientist(s) on each item and they will return it to the lab - if they drop the item before reaching the lab, it will warp back to where you found it originally.
Returning all five items solves the puzzle.
-=Puzzle 4=-
The Roster of the Dead.
At the far right of the map (use keyboard shortcut '3' to get there) is a grassy area - at the upper right of this area is a big leafy bush.
Have your villagers remove these leaves, which uncovers the roster of the dead (they will gain building skill; trained builders can accomplish this faster).
-=Puzzle 5=-
Weather Dancing.
You will need Level 2 Leadership, a tribal chief, and 3 Adept Farmers.
First, drop the chief on your lit fire.
He/she will begin weather dancing.
Then drop the farmers on the fire, and they will join in.
You will know they are successful when sparkles appear over their heads and under their feet.
-=Puzzle 6=-
The Lift. You will need 3 Adept Builders and Level 2 Restoration.
Once you have purchased the tech, drop your 3 builders on the "strange machine" in the orchard.
Make sure their action line reads "repairing the lift".
If you have done this correctly, the lift will be repaired.
-=Puzzle 7=-
The Rubble. You will need Level 2 Restoration.
Drop a villager (preferably a builder) on the pile of rocks at the bottom of the map.
He/she will clear away the rocks, gaining building skill (builders will accomplish this task faster).
-=Puzzle 8=-
The Ancient Bath.
You will need to have completed Puzzle 3 and have a Master Builder.
Drop your builder on the "chalkboard" in the alchemy lab (he/she will "see" it if you fly them over the lab) - he/she will create the the plans for the bath.
Drop your builders on the bath to complete the project.
-=Puzzle 9=-
The Statue. You will need Level 3 Restoration, Level 3 Leadership, a tribal chief, a Master Builder, and a completed bath (solved Puzzle 8).
Drop the Master Builder on the chalkboard (which will be blank after the bath is completed), and he/she will draw up plans for the statue. Drag an adult villager (not a nursing mom) up the path to the door until he/she "Sees a good place to anchor the statue" -- this villager is more likely to be successful if he/she has some building skill.
That villager will then build scaffolding to help anchor the statue. Your chief must direct work on the statue, so drop him/her on the statue to begin this process - if the chief stops directing work, then progress will halt until you return the chief to his/her duties.
Once the chief is directing, you can then drop builders on the statue to help "pushing the statue".
The villagers must push the statue up the path towards the door - this will take several hours (you can click on the statue to bring up a timer in the status bar that will help you determine how long is left - but this time depends on how many builders you have working on the project and may increase if builders leave the project).
Your builders may occasionally complain that "there is no more room to help out" - only a limited number of builders can work on the statue at any given time.
-=Puzzle 10=-
The Orchard. You should plant your first seed as soon as the game starts: this first seed is located next to the ruined lift: drop one of your adult villagers on this seed and he/she will plant it.
To gather the next two seeds, you will nee to have completed Puzzle 6 (The Lift).
As soon as a rain storm starts, place an adult villager (but not a nursing mom) on the lift (his/her action line should read "Standing on the Lift") Leave the villager there until the lift reaches its highest point, when a seed will fall from the tree above.
Drop the villager on the seed to plant it. You will need to plant a total of 3 seeds (the original plus
two from the lift) to complete the orchard - the puzzle will be completed once all three trees have become mature (and start producing fruit - it takes about 8 hours
on 'normal' speed for the tree to mature).
Additional seeds (beyond the first three) will not be planted, but will instead be placed in the food bin.
(Note: If you have trouble getting to the lift before it starts to go up, you may wish to pause the game with the spacebar when you see the rain start before finding a villager.
You will need to unpause the game to see their status line to make sure they are properly placed.)
-=Puzzle 11=-
Banishing the Sharks. You will need to have completed Puzzle 3 and have at least Level 2 in your chosen faction, Nature or Magic.
For NATURE: collect the following herbs for a potion: 2 X Black Orchid, 1 x Pitcher Plant.
For MAGIC: collect the following herbs for a potion: 2 X Rose, 1 x Berry.
Have an adult villager (not a nursing mother) drink the potion. He/she will take a vial to the ocean.
How the sharks are actually dealt with depends on the faction chosen (the nature potion is a shark repellant, the magic potion "charms" the sharks so they won't bother the villagers).
-=Puzzle 12=-
Aromatherapy.
You will need to have completed Puzzle 8, have Level 3 Medicine, and a Master Doctor.
Drop your Master Doctor in the completed bath.
He/she will fill the bowls around the bath with Lotus plants ("doing aromatherapy").
Then drop a Master Doctor on the fire to light the burners and finish the puzzle.
-=Puzzle 13=-
The Ash Key. Later in the game (after at least one fire cycle - 10
hours on fast speed), you will notice sparkles around the fire. Let your fire go out
(do not replenish it with firewood) - a diamond will appear in the ashes. The diamond
will be too hot to pick up initially (it was in a fire, don't forget). To cool the
key, drop adult villagers on the rightmost of the two waterfalls (where they go to
drink and do laundry). They will gather water and drop it on the key. They will need
to do this several times (8-10, at least) to make the diamond cool enough to touch -
your villagers won't repeat this task on their own, so you will have to make them
do it by dropping them on the waterfall. When the villagers no longer bring water
to the fire (they'll revert to drinking from the waterfall when you drop them on it),
drop a villager on the key - they will take it to the door and solve the puzzle.
You will need to repeat this step if they drop the key before reaching the door.
-=Puzzle 14=-
The Hanging Key.
You will need to have solved Puzzle 3.
Collect the following herbs for a potion: Cactus, Rose, Lotus.
Make the potion and have villager (other than a nursing mom) drink it.
That villager should feel "light and springy!".
Drop them near the pink diamond (the hanging thing) just above the Rose plant -their status line should read "trying to reach the key". They will jump up, collect the key, and place it in the door.
If they drop the key before reaching the door, you will have to resolve this puzzle.
-=Puzzle 15=-
The Clam Key.
You will need to have solved Puzzle 9.
Once the statue is completed, a pearl will appear.
Have a Master Builder pick up the pearl -he/she will take it to the waterfall to be "finished".
Then have the tribal chief pick up the finished blue pearl: the chief will use the pearl to get the key from the giant clam and will then put the key in the door.
(As with the other key puzzles, you may have to repeat parts of the puzzle if the key is dropped before it gets to the door).
-=Puzzle 16=-
The Sun Dial.
You will need to have solved Puzzles 13, 14, and 15.
Once all three keys are in the door, the sun dial room will be revealed.
Drop a villager on the sun dial until it reaches the position at the furthest left (there are three locations for the sun dial). When a beam of sunlight hits the sun dial, ghostly figures will appear in the room.
Drop a villager on those ghosts and the mystery of the secret city will be revealed!
