Hints, Strategies :
-------------------------
1.Easy money :

There are a couple of levels where you have to get a LOT of cash, but have many tiny houses. My tip: build the workshop and lumber mill, then build a ton of the largest houses you can. Once you have enough cash on hand, tear everything down and build the tiny ones they want.

2.General Tips :

- You can restart a level @ any time by selecting Menu/Pause; then select Restart Level on pop-up menu.

- You can replay a level once completed by selecting Menu/Pause; then select View Passport.
- Once an action has been assigned it can NOT be changed or deleted.
- It's best to sell properties when no other properties are up for sell to receive the maximum value.

-Buildings lower the value/rent of houses adjacent to them & lower neighborhood appeal. Buildings do not affect services.

- Plan where you're going to put buildings, services & landmarks @ the beginning of the level. This is easier to do in windowed mode; you can click on your desktop, the game will pause without a pop-up menu in your view. *HINT: Construct buildings on isolated lots or build a service between the house and a Building.**

- Landmarks improve value/rent of houses adjacent to them & improve neighborhood appeal. Landmarks do not affect services

- Run down houses lower the value/rent of houses adjacent to them & also lower neighborhood appeal.

-Building Services prevent service calls & costs of the built service. A Post Office can bring added cash in insignificant amounts to your coffer.

- Landscaping a house adds 5 points appeal to a house, which also adds 5 points to neighborhood appeal.
- Painting a house adds 5 points appeal to a house, which also adds 5 points to neighborhood appeal.

-You can assign workers to inspect or landscape a house, and then demolish the Workshop or Garden Center before assignment is completed and the workers will complete painting or landscaping their assignment.

- It takes 4+ properties up for sale to successfully low-ball a property.
- Low-ball property/properties to take them off the market when you want to put a house up for sale.

-Put 4+ properties up for sale when you want to purchase other properties & low-ball price to purchase houses/lots for less cost.

- It's cheaper to build a house than to buy one.
-It's generally best to purchase lots lower in value & gradually work up to higher in value lots when many lots need to be purchased.

-It's generally best to build highest value houses& upgrade them first, then gradually build lowest value houses when houses need to be built.
- Assign Workers multiple jobs simultaneously to complete levels faster.

-On most levels, build the most expensive house available to you (Except Chateaus) to build up a significant cash flow @ the beginning of the level to purchase Workers, Materials & other properties. This takes much less time than having rental income increase your cash flow.

- Building a Bank & hiring a Financial advisor pay interest, thus improving your cash flow. Especially helpful on levels where a high Money goal or many property purchases are required.

- Rent is not collected when the following occur (plan housing assignments between rent cycles):
*House needs repairing or is being repaired.
*House is being upgraded, painted, inspected or landscaped.
*House is run-down.
*A service call is requested or in process.

- On levels where a required goal is to have 1 or more Services, you can construct the same service multiple times
- Only 1 type of each Landmark can be built on each level
